World Business Class

Before departure
As a World Business Class passenger you are entitled to extra baggage and can check in at dedicated check-in desks. Once through customs, having used the priority lanes where available, relax in one of our KLM Crown lounges at Amsterdam Schiphol, Dubai, Toronto or Houston airports. Or in the lounges of our SkyTeam partners in other airports across the world.

Onboard comfort
Let your worries float away as you sink into our World Business Class seat. At 190 cm long, reclining to 175 degrees and equipped with a massage option, you will arrive relaxed and as fit as a fiddle. Refreshed too, with our World Business Class toiletries bag which you can enjoy behind your seat’s privacy screen. If you have any more requests, just ask our cabin attendants.

Watch the latest films and popular television series, listen to audio books, language courses and lots more on our personal and interactive entertainment system. Or use it to send messages to any telephone or e-mail address in the world. No time for fun? Your seat has a laptop connection, or you can keep abreast of world affairs with our collection of international newspapers and magazines.

On board dining
Enjoy a delicious three course menu, prepared specially by top chefs. All meals are served on quality crockery, with a glass of fine wine or another drink of your choice. Just let us know your dietary requirements in advance, and we will do our best to fulfil them. Among the dining choices are authentic local dishes on flights to and fromAsia – the height of good dining!

In World Business Class, on top of our usual choice of gift items, we offer a selection of exclusive items – perhaps presents for the special people in your life? And of course, we give you a unique souvenir of your trip. All our World Business Class passengers receive one of our famous Delft Blue miniature houses filled with genuine Dutch genever.

KLM Europe Select

Before departure
Enjoy the ease of a fully flexible reservation. Flying Europe Select allows you to change your flight whenever you want! Take extra baggage and earn double the Flying Blue Miles than in Economy Class. Check in at one of the many self-service check-in machines or at our dedicated check-in desk. Where available, go through customs using the priority lanes, avoiding the queues. Enjoy refreshments in peace and quiet in one of our lounges, while you read an international newspaper or surf the Internet. 

Onboard comfort
Go to the head of the queue to board the aircraft, picking up a free newspaper along the way. A copy of the Holland Herald, our in-flight magazine, is in the pocket in front of your seat. Relax and stretch your legs in a seat with extra legroom, and enjoy a good meal with a warm or cold drink. Our cabin crew will make sure that you are comfortable and arrive relaxed at your destination. 

KLM Economy - Intercontinental

Before departure
We offer various possibilities to check in and save time. If you check in online or at the airport using the self-service check-in machines, you can reserve the seat of your choice, for example with extra legroom, straightaway. You can also check in at our check-in desk at the airport. 

Onboard comfort
Welcome on board! We will do our best to make you feel at home during your flight. Enjoy a good meal, refreshments, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and a selection of international newspapers. As of December 2009, you can opt for an Economy Class seat with extra comfort on intercontinental flights. Entertainment
Every seat on our Boeing 777, Airbus A330 and MD-11 is equipped with an interactive entertainment system. You can watch popular television series and listen to audio books or language courses. Even the longest flights are not long enough to watch all the 80 films that we offer on every intercontinental flight! Every seat has a special telephone with which you can send messages to any mobile telephone or e-mail address in the world – and even receive an answer too. 

Shop for watches, jewellery, perfume, gadgets, toys and Dutch souvenirs in the sky, all at tax-free prices. The articles are listed in the Holland Herald, our complimentary in-flight magazine which you will find in the pocket in front of your seat. KLM Economy - Within Europe

Before departure
Travel comfortably, even on short flights. Save time using our various check-in possibilities: online or at the self-service check-in machines at the airport, and reserve a seat with extra legroom straightaway. Once checked in, you can drop off your baggage at specially designated baggage points. Of course, you can check in at the airport at our dedicated check-in desks too. 

Onboard comfort
During the flight, depending on the length of the flight and the time of day, we serve a snack or a sandwich freshly made every day. You can choose from a range of warm or cold drinks, and alcoholic or non-alcoholic drinks. 

In the seat pocket in front of you is the Holland Herald, our complimentary in-flight magazine. Shopping is available for flights that are longer than 60 minutes. All the shopping articles are listed in the Holland Herald.
