Comfort on board
- Experience our World Business Class sleeper seats with 170-degree recline, 190-cm length, privacy canopy, massage setting and laptop power: on Boeing 747-400, Boeing 777-200 and Airbus A330. Retrofit MD-11 fleet in progress (to be completed end 2008)
- On the Boeing 777-300ER, hard shell sleeper seat with 175-degree recline

KLM Europe Select
Check in at our dedicated desks and head straight to the lounge – KLM Europe Select is our premium product for flights within Europe. You’ll enjoy fully flexible booking, advance seat reservation, extra baggage allowance, priority boarding and disembarking and a quick passage through customs. Plus, you’ll earn double Flying Blue Miles with every flight!
KLM Economy Class

We’ll do our best to make you feel at home on board. You can reserve in advance to ensure you get the seat you prefer. During your flight, you’ll enjoy a full meal, refreshments from our drinks cart and, of course, the personal service of our crew. All aircraft feature a variety of audio and video entertainment. Our newest Boeing 777s and Airbus A330s are equipped with personal video screens in every seat and an interactive entertainment system complete with video games and individual telephones. You can even send text messages to any mobile phone or e-mail address anywhere in the world – and receive replies right at your seat! You’ll also have a selection of international newspapers to choose from. Shortly before arrival, you’ll see up-to-the-minute flight transfer information.
Within Europe
KLM offers various fares in KLM Economy Class. This way, you can decide for yourself about the right combination of flexibility (“Economy Flex Fare”) and affordability (“Take Off Fare”).
Depending on your European destination, you can choose from an “Economy Flex Fare” that gives you partial or total flexibility in changing or cancelling your trip, or a “Take Off Fare” – the best choice for the price-conscious passenger. Special offers are also made available as “Take Off Fares”. As you would expect, the earlier you book, the better chance you have for the lowest fare.
KLM is continuously working on improving onboard products and services in KLM Economy Class. Our catering, for example, places a high priority on freshness and quality: high-quality, freshly prepared sandwiches – made that very day – are served for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and you can choose from a wide array of beverages.
