Moon landings, museums and swamps

Fancy a trip to the largest city of the American state of Texas? Then book a flight to Houston and immerse yourself in all things Texan. Houston may be a real outdoor city with a lot of parks and water, but in terms of culture it has plenty to offer as well. Visit the Museum of Natural Science and the Old Market Square in the historic city centre. At night, Bayou Place is the perfect spot for a spectacular night on the town.

From museums to tropical butterfly gardens

Museum District is the cultural beating heart of Houston. Visit the Art Car Museum exhibiting phenomenally-painted and decorated cars. Another extraordinary must-see is the Cockrell Butterfly Center, where 1500 species of butterflies flutter around in an artificial rainforest. For an actual piece of wilderness, visit Brazos Bend State Park. This swampy area just outside the city is home to alligators and hundreds of bird species. Not only is Houston the ideal destination for a city trip, it’s also the perfect starting point for a longer vacation in the USA. Treat yourself: book a flight to Houston now!
